Contents page 2

This is a contents analysis from the music magazine Mojo this magazine begins with a large picture at the bottom of the page which attracts your eye straight away to the celebrate as it is a glamours and effective picture which has obviously been planned as the celeb is making eye contact with the camera and the reader. The Quote just to the right of the celeb is in large white text which contrasts against the black background of the picture and the page; underneath this quote there is a small description about the celeb and something to attract the reader to want to read about it. as well as a page number. This text is in a blood red colour.

Above this picture on the back background there is the section called Features, this sub tittle is in the red colour but it also has an impact by the use of capitals. Underneath the title there is page numbers going down the left hand side which is followed by the information that is on that specific page, the page numbers have been put in the same colour red to keep the colour scheme similar however the text has been put in white to make it stand out and also to attract the readers eye which makes them want to read it.

The top of the page appears to have been separated from the rest of the page because of the barred across the page with stripped white and yellow lines, this shows a break in the page which is useful as it stops the page from look too long. in these lines there is the date and he issue number in the white text which shows they have kept to the same colour scheme. At the very top of the page the name of the music magazine has been put in large white font which just reminds the reader of the magazine name and which also keeps the name of the magazine in the readers head which may influence the reader to buy the magazine next time.

Finally the contents page has also been followed into more detail over the next page which tells the reader more about the other pages in the magazine but on this page they have used more pictures of bands and album covers, however this page also contrasts to the first as it has a white background and black writing.
